The Max Allegri to Chelsea rumours are rife in England, and that’s also the case in Italy, where Gabriele Marcotti gives Corriere dello Sport’s readers the low down on the situation on Friday.

A lot of it is very much the same as what is being reported on our shores, yet there are a few tidbits of information worth relaying that we haven’t seen elsewhere.

One of them is what Chelsea are prepared to pay the Juventus manager if he were to end up at Stamford Bridge.

According to Corriere, the Blues would be willing to ‘cover him in gold’ by handing him a wage that would equal José Mourinho’s at Manchester United (around €14m/year).

This would, of course, come after the divorce with Antonio Conte, and while Luis Enrique has been the favourite to replace the former Italy national team manager at Stamford Bridge, Marcotti explains sources close to the London club, that interest has cooled down after hearing what the Spaniard wanted wage wise for himself and his staff.

That’s why Allegri appears to have now overtaken him in the list, with his demands far more ‘svelte’.
why are you frustrated? Chelsea have the best group of executives working in football and the results bear that fact out.

I smell a concept

Chelsea do not plan to terminate the contract of Antonio Conte before the end of the season despite a stuttering finish to the campaign that has left them with only the FA Cup to play for.

The Premier League champions have mustered four points from the past 15 on offer and are in fifth place, ten points behind Tottenham Hotspur who occupy the fourth and final Champions League qualification spot.

Fans expressed unhappiness after the 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Sunday and it is widely expected that Conte will not continue as head coach past the end of the season.

The club’s hope that the Italian may be offered a job to save them having to pay him compensation could be affected by reports that Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a contract with Thomas Tuchel. PSG had been monitoring Conte’s position and are one of the clubs that could afford his wages.

No shit sherlock!

Braucht man dafür irgendwelche Insider Informationen?!
